Family Photography Sessions in Richmond, VA

Whether you’re celebrating a new season, updating your family portraits, or just want to capture this moment in time—you’re in the right place.

I offer three session lengths to fit a variety of family needs and attention spans. Most families find the Classic Session to be the sweet spot. If you’ve got toddlers, teens, or grandparents in the mix, we’ll keep things fun, relaxed, and efficient—no forced smiles required.

Mini Session – 30 Minutes

Perfect for quick seasonal photos or families with very young children who max out fast. You’ll get a beautiful collection of images in a short time—ideal if you just want a few standout shots.

Classic Session – 60 Minutes

This is what I recommend for most families. One full hour gives us time to explore a location, ease into the session, and capture a mix of posed portraits and candid moments—without anyone getting photo fatigue.

Deluxe Session – 90 Minutes

For larger families or anyone who wants more time and variety. A great fit if you’d like individual portraits of older kids, multiple outfit changes, or a second location nearby.
