FAQ
Can you crop different versions from one image?
Yes. I shoot on a high-resolution professional camera so you can crop aggressively without losing quality. That means I can capture a half-body headshot for print or a website banner, and you can still crop a tight shoulder-up headshot for LinkedIn or company profiles — all from the same original file.
Do you bring lighting, or do you work with natural light?
I can do both. I have a portable setup with softboxes and professional flashes I can bring and set up on site for consistent, studio-quality results. I’m also very comfortable shooting in natural light if that’s the look you prefer.
Where can sessions take place?
I can meet you at your office, home, or an outdoor location around Richmond. I’ll help you choose a spot that fits the style you want.
How many images do I get to choose from?
For single-client sessions, I provide a shortlist of candidate images for you to select from. Mini sessions: at least 5 choices. Classic sessions: at least 10. Deluxe sessions: at least 15. You choose your favorites for retouching.
What’s the turnaround time?
Standard delivery is 2 business days after you make your selections. Rush next-day delivery is available on request.
Do you retouch the images?
Yes. Every final image includes clean, natural retouching — removing distractions, refining skin tones, and making sure you look your best while still looking like yourself.
What should I wear?
Solid colors and simple textures work best. Bring one backup top or jacket so we have options. I’ll give you quick feedback on clothing during the session.
